March 15, 2013 Bob Reynolds... again

Usually I only mail to a player one time. When I sent a TTM request to Bob Reynolds a while back , he wrote and asked if I had a picture of him in a Cardinals uniform.  Keith from NYC sent me an image of him in a Cardinals uniform so I made a card of Mr Reynolds along with some new customs made with some new images.

Bob Reynolds
Bob came up with the Monreal Expos in 1969 and pitched in one game. He pitched mostly with the Orioles, appearing in 106 games in 3 years.

May 11, 2013 Larry Bowa and Joe Ferguson

Got back two today ......

Larry Bowa
I liked Larry Bowa because he was a pretty good fielder and always played hard. To me, because of his size, he always looked like the little kid playing with the big kids. He was an All Star throughout the 1970s and led the National League in fielding several times.

Joe Ferguson
Joe made the major leagues with the Dodgers in 1970 and became the regular catcher in 1973. He shared the position with Steve Yeager but played the outfield when he didn't catch. He also played with the Cardinals, Astros and Angels in his career.

May 10, 2013 Two Back Today

Got back two requests today.......both were catchers.

Chris Krug
Chris Krug caught for the Chicago Cubs in 1965 and 1966 and San Diego Padres in 1969. Here is an interesting note from Wiki......

Krug returned to college, earned his degree, and became a landscape artist after his playing days ended. At least one example of his work has been seen by millions of moviegoers and tourists since---it was Krug who designed the cornfield ballfield made famous in the Kevin Costner film Field of Dreams.

Very cool

Ken Suarez
Mr Suarez came up to the major leagues with the KC Athletics in 1965. He was drafted by the Indians in the 1967 minor league draft and stayed with them off and on until 1971. He finished his career with the Texas Rangers in 1973.

May 3, 2013 Tommy Dean

It's been months since I sent out some TTM requests. I sent out a few last Saturday and the first one came back today.

Tommy Dean
Tommy Dean was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1964. He played with them in 1967 and then was traded to the San Diego Padres in 1969 where he played until 1971.
