September 30, 2013 Al Monchak

Al Monchak
is one of the oldest living major leaguers as he was born in 1917. He played with the Phillies in 1940 and then was a manager and coach in the minor leagues. In 1971 he was a coach under Chuck Tanner with the White Sox and then followed Tanner as a coach to the Oakland A's (1976) and Pittsburgh Pirates (1977–1984).
