March 30, 2013 Joe Horlen and Jerry Messerly

Jerry Messerly

Mr Messerly is another teammate that former major league pitcher Ray Peters helped me get. They played together with the Eugene Emeralds in 1971. Jerry never made the major leagues but he played for 10 years in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.and played the last 6 years in AAA ball in the PCL.

Baseball is in the Messerly genes as Jerry's father, Russell, played in the NY Yankees organization from 1939-1946, during World War Two and his son, Michael, played in the Oakland A's organization from 1988 to 1991

Joe Horlen
Mr Horlen's signatures were acquired through a private signing held by Bob McCartha, a diehard White Sox fan.

Thanks Bob, they came out great.

March 26, 2013 Gary Neibauer

Gary Neibauer
Gary Neibauer pitched for the Atlanta Braves from 1969 to 1973 with a stop in Philly with the Phillies in between. I got Mr Neibauer with the help of Keith from NYC , who supplied the Phillies image,  and former major league pitcher Ray Peters, who roomed with Mr Neibauer's old roomate, Pete Koegel. Mr Peters arranged for me to send them to get signed. Gary sent a business card for his baseball training and instruction in Denver.

I found out that Mr Neibauer fought to have older players who just missed out on a baseball pension included in the MLB pension plan,

Been busy making cards for collectors....here are some of the results

John in Las Vegas....... likes cards of the lesser known players who made the major leagues but didn't stay long

John from Oregon.......likes posed fielding and batting images
