July 21, 2012 Big Returns Day

From my big mailing last Saturday, I got 8 returns today

Bob Humphreys

Bob was a pitcher with the Tigers, Cardinals and Brewers but had his best seasons with the Washington Senators from 1966-1969. The Senators Bullpen was previously signed by Dick Lines and now its off to Dave Baldwin.


Gary Timberlake

Gary pitched in 2 games with the 1969 Seattle Pilots. He was originally drafted by the NY Yankees in 1966 Draft. He finished 1971- 1975 in the Oakland A's organization.


Bill Virdon

Bill Virdon was Rookie Of The Year in 1955 with the Cardinals and was traded to the Pirates where he played from 1956-1968 and then he manged the team from 1972-1973. He managed the Yankees in 1974-75 and was replaced by Billy Martin.




John Miller

John played with the 1966 Yankees and hit a home run in his first major league at bat.He last played with the 1969 Dodgers.



Ray Corbin

Ray was mainly a starting pitcher with the Twins from 1971-1975 going 36-38


Bill Stein

Bill came up with the Cardinals in 1972 but spent most of his career with the Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers. He emailed asking foe copies of the Cardinals cards.


Billy Moran

Played with the Cleveland Indians and the Los Angeles Angels and was on the 1962 American League All Star team representing the Angels.



Floyd Wicker

Floyd played with the Cardianls, Expos, Brewers and Giants from 1968-1971. All the photos I used were black and white photos that I colorized.
